In our today's blog we are going to review a lip product by Maybelline, interestingly called the lip polish in the shade Glam 16. It's a moisturising lip balm, a lipstick and a lip gloss all rolled into one. So read on to know our thoughts on this super lip product.
The lip polish has an interesting packaging. It comes in a plastic case with a metallic silver cap wherein the lip colour is filled in a lipstick-like mould. It also has a special leaf-shaped wand which helps in a quick and precise application for curves of your lips.
Now coming to the actual lip polish, it is creamy in texture, a chocolatey brown shade with gold shimmer. It is smooth in application, non-sticky and it looks lovely giving the illusion of fuller lips. It is more sheer than it looks in the tube but the best part is you can build up the colour between sheer and opaque as per your choice, so it holds true it's claim of working as a lip gloss as well as a lipstick. The look of the lip polish will differ depending on the natural colour of your lips.
The product has a decent staying power of about 4 hours in between light munching after which it starts to fade leaving a nice stain on the lips. And since it has the properties of a lip balm, it doesn't leave your lips dry, another yay and a must have if you have dry lips!!
Finally coming to the price, it is quite affordable, a tube of 5 ml costs Rs. 450.
